CEO (Founder)

Alexander Knight is a native Londoner with Scottish roots who has called Singapore home for more than 18 years. As the founder and CEO of Whisky Cask Club, Alex has built one of Asia’s leading platforms for whisky cask investment, helping collectors and investors worldwide access rare Scottish casks.
 

With a background in journalism and finance, Alexander began his career in London with Thomson Reuters, News International, and Argus Media. His understanding of markets, storytelling, and global trade shaped his approach to the whisky business — one built on integrity, education, and expertise.
 

A graduate of The Whisky Ambassador Programme, Alexander combines professional insight with a genuine passion for Scotch whisky. Under his leadership, Whisky Cask Club has expanded into Hong Kong, Bangkok, Melbourne, and Dubai, offering clients transparent access to fully insured, professionally managed whisky casks from Scotland’s finest distilleries.  Alex also created the Whisky Cask Fund, Singapore’s first MAS-listed whisky investment fund.
 

Beyond his work, Alexander is a writer, whisky educator, and father of three. He believes whisky tells a story — one of patience, craftsmanship, and connection — and he’s dedicated to creating a global community of whisky lovers and investors who value both the legacy and opportunity that each cask represents.
